Dr. Uta Ihrke-Buchroth

Dr. Uta Ihrke-Buchroth is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at FAU about the topic of „Neurodiversity and Religion“, focusing on the contribution of religious science to the current debate of neurodiversity. She aims to enrich religious studies and contextual theology with a better understanding of the strengths, challenges and dynamics that neurodiversity creates, developing e.g. new hermeneutical patterns of studying scriptures.Her seminars intent to enable future religious leaders and teachers to create religious communities and classrooms as places of belonging, where all different neurotypes flourish.
